Rappers making a difference again. The spotlight is really on MV Bill. A native Brazillian rapper thats been doing his best to keep youth out of the drug trade in Brazil. Mos Def is jus being the legendary rapper he is and vibing with dude. Visiting diff community centers and hosting live concert. Caught my eye because Mos Def made the attempt to reach out and show the difficulties these kids are going through and how MV Bill is using his talent to help his community

So Jay got an autobiography out which is definitely bout be the topic of conversation for the next couple months. The Jigga man droppin knowledge and detailing life lessons learned in text. Above all that the marketing campaign for the book is intense. Bing and Droga5 bombed the world with images of various pages from the book. I gotta say. Shits dopee.

Pretty sure this is already viral. Not really interested in the content of this rant but the context. New album out. Media hating. Flaky fans jumping back on the bandwagon. Kanye delivers once again. Favorite moment had to be the random "GayFish" on which Kanye ends the rant.

I don't usually listen to the radio. Not just because its repetitive but nothing on it is new. But my homie AP put me on this station in Boston. Not to far from campus. Their selection of music is way deeper than your average urban radio or those that claim to be. Thirty min went by, then an hour and I was still vibin. It didnt take long before I heard DMV.

Radio is still worth something.

Feeling good. Got new beats in my inbox. Recorded the first one at Redds last week. Gotta another session this weekend. Hella motivated but its weird cause I dont know if I can keep up the same pace when school starts. Can't have a year like last year or I might not be in school anymore. Shit is hectic. Music or College? Does every rapper gotta make that choice? Maybe I could balance both, I did last year. Now that I look back I feel like my focus was way displaced. Between classes, recording, shows. My better half is telling me I was built for this but realistically I want to put a 110 percent into anything I'm doing. Thats my character. But my parents put too much into my education for me to fuck it up. I know Ima be successful no matter what BUT doing what?

Yea so I'm blogging again only to inform you bout my folks M.I.T and they're knew single "Jah Ballin". We got John Wall in the District know and it seems he may be the solution. I seen some of the summer league games and home boy be moving. Personally I think it's too soon to say but why not indulge in the hype? O yea and I had a lil cameo in video too. Just got the CD's yesterday all nice and pressed up. I'ma be out promoting the mixtape with free shit. I'll be doing shows all summer. Got one more final to take before I'm off campus and back home(Accounting). Freshman year went by soooo fast. The Recess Mixtape is doing well. I think my first year of the rest of my life was an overall success.

Is it me or is Cudi going harder than anyone in the game right now? Man On The Moon still getting spins from every demographic on the planet. "That Tree" is the new joint on Snoop's re release of Malice N Wonderland. I think this the final version but I have heard others. I thought the beat was hot but I don't know if Snoop did it justice.
